What’s your weekly routine aside of HIGHER GROUND?
Beyond my time at HIGHER GROUND, I love immersing myself in the outdoors with a Sunday hike through the beautiful landscapes of Switzerland, or taking a run through the vibrant streets of Zürich on the weekend and no matter where I am, I always start my day with a quick 10-minute morning stretch to set the tone right.
How many times per week are you joining HIGHER GROUND?
My life is quite dynamic, so I’m often on the go. I try to make it a weekly appointment, a way to show up for myself. When I manage to come twice, I feel even better. And if I ever miss a week, I truly crave it.
How does HIGHER GROUND makes you feel?
Every practice feels different: sometimes, after a long day of work, I simply need a safe space to release and let go; other times, just knowing I have a session ahead fills me with extra energy and joy throughout the day.
What do you enjoy most about HIGHER GROUND?
Absolutely favourite ever: the music!
Since day 1 I have always said Higher Ground has the coolest playlist. From 90s beats, to Fred Again, to the softer ones at the end. Sometimes I just find myself singing to it, while doing the reps, almost forgetting I am sweating like never before.
What role does the grounding exercise play in your practice?
It allows me to stop, slow down and take a moment to really be in the present. Nothing else around matters. All noise is cancelled.

It’s hard to pick just one, but if I really had to choose, I would say the coaching. The team truly makes the difference, practice after practice. You always strike the perfect balance between encouraging us to push beyond our mental and physical boundaries, while also reminding us to respect them. In every session, you never feel alone even though the practice is deeply personal, you are supported by a powerful community who shows up alongside you.

Are there moments when the HIGHER GROUND mindset helps you?
Yes ! it’s helped me be more patient with myself when I want things to progress quickly. I’ve learned that real progress takes time, consistency, and commitment. Switching from 3 kg to 5 kg, for example, took me almost a year.
What transformation did you see with yourself through HIGHER GROUND?
Being fully in the present, without getting caught up in the past or worrying about what’s ahead.
Why do you feel this kind of movement
- strength, cardio, breath, and presence - is important today?
Too often, we place all our attention on a single element, forgetting that true impact only comes when they are all combined. It is the only practice that allows me to practice them as one.
What’s one word or feeling that captures the essence of Higher Ground for you? Why?
Grateful to the team who created and continue to shape this powerful, safe space. This space connects us and allows us to be fully present and to push our boundaries.
